On one hand, proponents of the view that plastic pollution is less significant than other environmental issues assert that deforestation and climate change have far more profound consequences for the Earth's ecosystems. They argue that the loss of forests leads to habitat destruction, loss of biodiversity, and exacerbates global warming, all of which are undeniably critical concerns.
