On one hand, technology has undoubtedly played a vital role in promoting environmental consciousness by providing us with tools and information necessary to understand the consequences of human actions on the environment. For instance, satellite imagery and remote sensing technologies allow researchers to monitor deforestation, desertification, and other ecological changes. Moreover, social media platforms and internet-based campaigns have amplified public awareness about environmental issues such as climate change, plastic pollution, and loss of biodiversity. As a result, people are becoming increasingly conscious of their impact on the environment, leading to changes in consumption patterns and support for eco-friendly initiatives.

On the other hand, modern technology has also contributed to a reduction in environmental consciousness by facilitating unsustainable practices. The rapid growth of consumerism driven by advancements in manufacturing, marketing, and logistics has led to an increase in resource consumption and waste generation. For example, electronic devices are now more affordable and accessible, resulting in shorter lifespans for products and a higher demand for disposal and recycling.
