On the one hand, Western culture has brought about a plethora of advantages to non-Western societies. One major impact is the spread of modern education systems, which have contributed to the overall improvement of literacy rates and accessibility to quality education. Moreover, technological advancements have played a pivotal role in facilitating communication, transportation, and economic growth in these regions. Additionally, Western culture has introduced new artistic expressions, such as music, cinema, and literature, that have enriched the cultural landscape of non-Western societies.

However, it is essential to consider the negative impacts of Western cultural influence as well. One significant drawback is the potential loss of traditional customs and values in non-Western societies. As people adopt Western lifestyles and norms, they may begin to abandon their own cultural practices, which can lead to a decline in cultural diversity. Furthermore, the spread of consumerism has resulted in the rapid growth of materialism in these societies, causing an imbalance between the pursuit of wealth and the preservation of environmental resources.
