Additionally, the introduction of invasive species and pollution further exacerbate the decline of biodiversity.

Moreover, climate change is another significant threat to biodiversity. The rise in global temperatures has led to shifts in ecosystems, affecting the distribution and survival of various species. For example, as polar ice melts, it creates new habitats for certain species while displacing others, leading to an imbalance in biodiversity.

In conclusion, although deforestation is a crucial factor in the decline of biodiversity, it is important to recognize that other issues such as habitat destruction, the introduction of invasive species, pollution, and climate change also pose significant threats.
