Technological advancements in transportation, such as the rise of automobiles and air travel, have significantly contributed to climate change due to the increased emission of greenhouse gases. Additionally, technological innovations in agriculture, like genetic modification and fertilizers, have negatively impacted biodiversity and ecosystems.

On the other hand, technology has also been instrumental in finding solutions to environmental challenges. Renewable energy sources, such as solar panels and wind turbines, are becoming increasingly popular and help reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.
