One major concern is the damage that may be caused by the large number of visitors. The wear and tear on these ancient structures can be significant, leading to long-lasting damage and even irreparable harm. Moreover, the influx of tourists could disrupt the local ecosystems surrounding these sites, leading to environmental degradation.

In conclusion, while opening cultural heritage sites to tourists undoubtedly has its benefits, such as promoting global understanding and providing revenue for preservation efforts, it is important to weigh these advantages against the potential harm that may be caused by overcrowding and environmental damage. As a result, I believe that a balanced approach should be taken in determining which sites are opened to tourists and under what conditions. This would ensure that cultural heritage sites can continue to be preserved for future generations while still allowing people from around the world to appreciate their significance.
