This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting a conclusion.

On one hand, it can be argued that socioeconomic status does indeed have a considerable impact on educational achievement. Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds often face numerous challenges that can impede their progress in school. For example, they may not have access to quality education or the necessary resources such as textbooks and technology, which are essential for academic success. Additionally, financial constraints may prevent families from providing a conducive learning environment at home, including a quiet place to study and a supportive family atmosphere.

On the other hand, some argue that socioeconomic status is not a major determinant of educational achievement. They contend that individual efforts, dedication, and motivation are more significant factors in determining a student's success.
