On one hand, it can be argued that society has made significant strides towards becoming more inclusive. This increased representation in government has led to a greater understanding and recognition of the needs and perspectives of marginalized groups. Additionally, legislation such as anti-discrimination laws and affirmative action programs have been implemented to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens regardless of their race, gender, or socioeconomic status.

In the media, there has also been a noticeable shift towards greater diversity and inclusion.
