This, in turn, leads to more frequent and devastating floods that can wreak havoc on both the environment and human settlements. For instance, the severe flooding experienced in Bangladesh in 2017 was attributed to a combination of heavy monsoon rains and rising sea levels due to climate change.

Secondly, hurricanes are another natural disaster that has been influenced by climate change.
