These advancements have allowed people to maintain long-distance relationships, stay connected with friends and family, and even forge new connections across geographical boundaries. For instance, social media has enabled people to rekindle old friendships and expand their network of acquaintances. Moreover, technology has made it possible for individuals to express themselves more openly through various online platforms, leading to a deeper understanding and empathy among users.

However, there are also several negative aspects associated with the role of technology in personal relationships. The excessive use of smartphones and social media has led to a decline in face-to-face interactions, resulting in superficial connections and a lack of meaningful conversations.
