Additionally, the rise of social media and digital communication platforms has facilitated greater dialogue about issues affecting marginalized groups and encouraged activism aimed at raising awareness and advocating for change.

On the other hand, there are also factors that suggest societies may be becoming less inclusive. For instance, the resurgence of nationalist and populist movements in various parts of the world has led to a rise in xenophobia, racism, and discrimination. In some cases, this has manifested as policies and actions targeting marginalized groups, which can contribute to a more exclusionary society. Moreover, media portrayal of marginalized individuals often perpetuates stereotypes and stigmatization, which in turn affects public opinion and social attitudes towards these groups.

In conclusion, it is difficult to definitively state whether societies are becoming more or less inclusive of marginalized groups as both positive and negative factors exist. However, the ongoing efforts to challenge discrimination and promote equity, along with increased awareness and dialogue about these issues, suggest that progress is being made. It is crucial for societies to continue working towards a world where everyone is treated fairly and with dignity, regardless of their social, economic, or cultural background.
