In this essay, I will explore the factors that have influenced society's perception of government intervention and assess whether support for such interventions has increased or decreased in recent times.

In the past few decades, globalization has had a profound impact on societies worldwide, resulting in a more interconnected world with shared challenges. As a result, many people now believe that governments must take an active role in addressing these issues. For instance, climate change and the need for sustainable development have prompted calls for stronger governmental action to regulate industries and implement effective policies. Additionally, the rise of income inequality has led some to argue that the state should play a more significant role in redistributing wealth through progressive taxation and social welfare programs.
