In this essay, I will analyze both perspectives and conclude that a balance between strictness and flexibility is the most effective approach to discipline in schools.

On one hand, implementing stricter discipline policies can have several benefits for schools. For instance, such policies can help establish a sense of order and respect among students, teachers, and staff. When rules are clearly defined and consistently enforced, students are less likely to engage in disruptive behavior or violate the rights of others. Additionally, a strong disciplinary system can prevent bullying, cheating, and other unacceptable behaviors that can hinder the learning environment.
