Firstly, wildlife trafficking has a profound impact on ecosystems and the delicate balance of biodiversity. As endangered species are hunted or captured for their body parts, such as elephant tusks, rhino horns, or tiger skins, the ecological roles they play in their respective environments are disrupted. For example, elephants are known to maintain the balance of forest ecosystems by dispersing seeds and controlling vegetation growth.
