For example, end-to-end encrypted messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Signal ensure that messages are only visible to the intended recipients, reducing the risk of data interception. Additionally, privacy settings on social media and other online platforms allow users to control who can access their personal information, further safeguarding their privacy.

Moreover, technology has provided individuals with tools to assert their rights to privacy more effectively.
