On one hand, cultural globalization has facilitated communication and understanding among people from different linguistic backgrounds. The spread of English as the world's primary language for business, science, and technology has allowed individuals to share information and collaborate more effectively. As a result, indigenous languages can gain recognition and prestige in these areas.

On the other hand, cultural globalization also poses a threat to the survival of many indigenous languages. The dominance of English and other major languages often leads to the neglect of less-widely spoken tongues. In many cases, this has resulted in the loss of unique cultural identities, traditions, and histories that are deeply rooted in these languages.

Moreover, the influence of mass media, including television, radio, and the internet, has contributed to the spread of global culture, which is primarily centered around a few major languages. In conclusion, cultural globalization has both positive and negative impacts on indigenous languages.
