On the other hand, it can be said that technology is exacerbating the digital divide by disproportionately benefiting certain groups of people while marginalizing others. For example, those with higher socioeconomic status are more likely to have access to advanced technologies, such as high-speed internet and cutting-edge devices, which can provide them with a significant advantage in terms of education, employment, and social mobility. In contrast, individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds may not have the resources or knowledge to fully capitalize on these advancements, thereby perpetuating existing disparities.
