In this essay, I will explore the positive and negative aspects of globalization on language diversity, and provide an overview of its overall effect on linguistic richness.

One of the ways in which globalization has contributed to the preservation of language diversity is through increased access to information and technology. The internet, for example, allows people from different cultures to share their languages with others, thus promoting linguistic diversity. Additionally, the mass media, such as television and radio stations, have made it possible for speakers of lesser-known languages to communicate their stories and experiences to a broader audience.
