On one hand, the proliferation of smartphones, computers, and internet connectivity has increased accessibility to information and communication resources. For instance, the spread of mobile banking services in developing countries has enabled millions of people to participate in the global economy and improve their financial situations. Additionally, online education platforms have become an essential tool for students in remote areas, providing them with opportunities to learn from experts across the globe. These advancements have undoubtedly contributed to bridging the digital divide to some extent.
However, on the other hand, the digital divide still persists due to several reasons. One of the primary factors is the economic disparity that prevents many individuals from owning or accessing advanced technology.
