On one hand, technology has provided numerous opportunities to tackle social problems. For instance, online platforms have been utilized to raise awareness about critical issues such as climate change, gender inequality, and racial discrimination. Moreover, these digital spaces have also facilitated discussions, debates, and collaboration among diverse groups of people who can contribute their knowledge and perspectives.

In addition, technology has played a pivotal role in creating innovative solutions to social challenges. For example, mobile applications have been developed to improve accessibility for disabled individuals, reduce waste through recycling programs, or provide mental health support.

However, despite the undeniable benefits of technology, it is not enough to solely rely on its power to create meaningful change. Firstly, technology itself cannot inherently address social issues; rather, it requires human intervention and collaboration to identify problems, design solutions, and implement them effectively. For example, while AI-powered algorithms can detect hate speech online, they still need the input of human moderators to ensure that the content is appropriately flagged or removed.
