It is important to acknowledge that, in some cases, society's trust in institutions has indeed diminished. For instance, issues related to political scandals, corporate greed, and widespread corruption have contributed to a growing sense of mistrust among the public. This distrust has been exacerbated by the prevalence of social media platforms, which have allowed for rapid dissemination of negative news stories and incidents involving institutions, ultimately tarnishing their image and credibility. On the other hand, there are instances where trust in certain institutions has remained stable or even increased.
