While preserving cultural identity is important, it should not come at the expense of human rights and social justice.

Furthermore, adapting cultural traditions can also help to promote understanding and respect between different cultures. As people become more interconnected, it becomes increasingly essential for societies to engage with one another and learn from each other's customs and beliefs. By adapting traditions that no longer serve a purpose in contemporary society, individuals and communities can demonstrate their openness to change and willingness to collaborate with others.
