Water-related disputes are already occurring in various parts of the world, and if left unchecked, these issues could escalate into more serious conflicts. Additionally, the depletion of freshwater resources due to overextraction, pollution, and climate change exacerbates water scarcity, making it a critical concern for humanity's long-term survival.

However, other environmental challenges are also pressing and demand immediate attention. Climate change is an alarming issue that threatens the very existence of many species, ecosystems, and human civilizations. The accelerated rate of global warming due to greenhouse gas emissions has led to more frequent and intense weather events such as floods, droughts, heatwaves, and storms.
