This perspective aims to foster cross-cultural understanding, as it emphasizes that there are no absolute moral or ethical truths; instead, these are shaped by cultural norms and values.

One of the main benefits of cultural relativism is that it encourages empathy and tolerance towards other cultures. By recognizing that each culture has its own unique set of values, practices, and beliefs, individuals can learn to respect and appreciate the diversity that exists in the world. This understanding can lead to a more harmonious coexistence among people from different cultural backgrounds.
