In this essay, we will discuss whether society is becoming more or less environmentally conscious and consider the implications of these changes.

On one hand, there are numerous signs indicating that society's environmental consciousness has significantly improved. For instance, governments around the world have implemented stricter environmental regulations and enforced laws to protect natural resources and reduce pollution levels. Additionally, many businesses and corporations have adopted sustainable practices, such as reducing waste, using renewable energy sources, and implementing eco-friendly packaging solutions. Moreover, individuals are becoming increasingly aware of their carbon footprints and are taking steps to reduce them through recycling, conserving energy, and choosing environmentally friendly products.

On the other hand, there are still many areas in which society's environmental consciousness appears to be lacking or diminishing.
