On the one hand, technology has made it easier for us to stay connected with people from all over the world. Through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, we can maintain contact with friends and family members who live in distant locations. Moreover, instant messaging services like WhatsApp and Skype enable us to engage in real-time conversations with loved ones regardless of geographical boundaries. In this sense, technology has indeed strengthened our personal relationships by helping us stay connected even when we are physically apart.

On the other hand, however, excessive use of technology can have detrimental effects on our interpersonal skills and emotional well-being. For instance, spending excessive amounts of time online or on mobile devices may lead to decreased face-to-face interaction, which could result in feelings of isolation and loneliness.
