On one hand, cultural appropriation refers to the adoption of certain aspects of a culture by people outside of that culture. Critics argue that it is inherently wrong for several reasons. Firstly, they claim that cultural appropriation often leads to the commercialization and commodification of indigenous cultures. This can result in the exploitation of these cultures for profit, without giving due credit or compensation to the original creators or communities. Secondly, critics argue that cultural appropriation can contribute to the perpetuation of stereotypes and the marginalization of minority groups.
