On one hand, technology has been a driving force in promoting social justice. For instance, digital platforms such as social media have provided people with a powerful tool to raise awareness about social issues, disseminate information, and organize protests or campaigns. The role of technology in the Arab Spring, Black Lives Matter movement, and the Me Too movement clearly demonstrates its potential to amplify voices from marginalized communities and bring attention to systemic injustice. Furthermore, technological innovations have expanded access to education and healthcare for people in underserved areas, reducing socio-economic disparities. For example, the use of telemedicine and online learning platforms has made it possible for individuals from remote or disadvantaged backgrounds to receive quality education and medical care.

On the other hand, there are also concerns that technology may impede social justice. The digital divide, which refers to the gap between those who have access to information and communication technologies and those who do not, exacerbates existing inequalities.
