On the one hand, social media has fostered greater interconnectedness and mutual understanding among individuals from diverse backgrounds. Through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, people can easily share their thoughts, opinions, and experiences with a global audience. Consequently, social media has facilitated the exchange of ideas and cultures, breaking down barriers and promoting a more inclusive society. For instance, campaigns against racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination have gained momentum through social media, leading to greater awareness and a push for social change.
