One example of social cohesion's importance during times of crisis can be seen in the aftermath of a natural disaster, such as a hurricane or earthquake. In these situations, communities often come together to help one another, with neighbours assisting each other in clearing debris, providing shelter and food, and offering emotional support. This collaborative effort not only speeds up the recovery process but also strengthens relationships among community members, fostering trust and understanding.
