The loss of pollinators would therefore lead to a decrease in plant diversity and ultimately affect the entire ecosystem. Consequently, it is essential for governments to take measures to safeguard these creatures.

Secondly, pollinators significantly contribute to global food security. Approximately 75% of our diet comes from crops that rely on pollination by insects, birds, or other animals. A decline in pollinator populations would result in reduced crop yields and threaten the availability of various fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Governments must recognize this potential impact and implement policies to protect these species to ensure long-term food security.

Moreover, protecting pollinators can also have economic benefits.
