This essay will examine both perspectives and provide a comprehensive analysis to determine whether or not society has become more tolerant of diversity.

On one hand, it can be argued that society has indeed become more tolerant of diversity. The increasing globalization of our world has led to greater exposure to different cultures, languages, and ways of life. Social media platforms have allowed individuals from all walks of life to connect and share their experiences, fostering understanding and empathy among people from various backgrounds. Moreover, the legal recognition of same-sex marriage in many countries is a clear indicator that society has become more accepting of alternative lifestyles.

On the other hand, there are those who assert that intolerance towards diversity is on the rise. Racism and discrimination still exist in many parts of the world, as evidenced by hate crimes and acts of violence targeting minority groups.
