Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp have connected individuals globally, allowing them to stay informed about each other's lives, celebrate milestones, and provide support in times of need. Furthermore, online forums, chat rooms, and dating apps have facilitated the formation of new relationships, regardless of geographical boundaries. These platforms have also been instrumental in providing a voice to marginalized groups, enabling them to express their opinions and experiences.

On the other hand, critics argue that technology has led to a decline in meaningful social interactions.
