While some believe that academic subjects such as maths, science, and languages should take precedence, others argue that environmental education is crucial for the future well-being of our planet. In this essay, I will discuss both perspectives and provide my own viewpoint on the matter.

On one hand, it can be argued that traditional academic subjects are more important than environmental education. These subjects form the basis of a well-rounded education, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills that they can apply in various aspects of life. For instance, understanding mathematical concepts allows students to solve real-life problems, while learning scientific principles helps them appreciate the world around them and make informed decisions. On the other hand, environmental education is equally vital for the sustainable development of our planet.
