These groups, who have lived in close harmony with the natural environment for centuries, face unique challenges due to their reliance on local ecosystems and resources.

Body Paragraph 1 (Band Score 5): One of the most significant impacts of climate change on indigenous communities is the loss of traditional knowledge systems. Indigenous people have long relied on their understanding of local ecological patterns, such as migration routes of animals or plant growth cycles, to ensure food security and sustainability. However, rapid changes in weather patterns and ecosystems are disrupting these patterns, rendering much of this traditional knowledge obsolete. This loss undermines the cultural identity and self-sufficiency of indigenous communities and can contribute to social disintegration.
