7. Have you ever attended any cultural events in your community, such as festivals, concerts, or plays? If so, which one(s) did you like the most and why?
8. Some people prefer to celebrate birthdays at home with family while others go out to restaurants or parties. What's your preference and why?
9. Do you enjoy cooking? Why or why not?
10. In your opinion, are there any important qualities that everyone should have or strive for in life? Which quality do you think is most important and why?
Part 2: Long Turn (Cue Card)
Title: Discuss a memorable experience you had while exploring a new interest.
Talk about the following topic: "Discuss a memorable experience you had while exploring a new interest." You should say:
- What was your new interest?
- When and where did this experience take place?
- Why was it memorable for you?
You will have one minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes if you wish.
Part 3: Two-Way Discussion
1. How important is it for people to try new things and explore their interests? Why do you feel this way?
2. In your opinion, why do people sometimes find it difficult to pursue a new hobby or interest? What can be done to help them overcome this difficulty?
3. Some people are interested in many different activities while others prefer to focus on just one. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both approaches?
4. Can you think of an example from a movie, book, or real life where someone explores a new interest or takes up a hobby later in life? How did it affect their life or personality?
5. How have technology and the internet changed the way people explore new interests or hobbies? In what ways has this been beneficial and in what ways has it been harmful, if at all?
