Part 2 (Cue Card): Some people admire famous figures for their achievements, while others may not find them as inspiring. Discuss a famous person you admire. Provide specific reasons why you admire this person and explain what you can learn from them.

1. What are some of the challenges that this person has faced in their life? How have they handled these challenges?
2. How do your own values align with those of the person you've discussed?)
Part 3 Questions:
1. In what ways do famous people influence society? (follow-up: Can you think of any negative impacts that some famous people have had on society?)

3. Some argue that famous individuals should be held to a higher standard of behavior because of their influence. What's your opinion on this matter? (follow-up: Can you think of any specific incidents where a famous person's actions have had serious consequences for others or society as a whole?)
4. How important is it for people to have role models in their lives, especially young people? Why might someone not want to have a role model? (follow-up: What kind of qualities should a good role model possess?)
