Sample response: In my first year of college, I had to decide whether to switch my major from engineering to business administration because I realized that my true passion lay in marketing and entrepreneurship rather than technical aspects of engineering. The decision was difficult because it meant leaving behind all the time and effort I had already invested in my engineering courses, as well as letting go of the idea of having a high-paying engineering job. Ultimately, I decided to change my major to business administration because I believed that it would better align with my long-term career goals. The outcome was positive, as I found my coursework more engaging and relevant to what I wanted to do in life. Additionally, I discovered new opportunities and connections in the business world that led me down a path of personal and professional growth.
