Part 1: Introduction and Warm-up

Part 2: Cue Card
In this part of the test, you will have one minute to prepare a short talk based on the topic written on your card. The topic is as follows: "Describe a time when you had to navigate through a difficult situation." After you have spoken for about one and a half minutes, I'll ask you some questions about what you've said.
Here are some tips to help you make a good presentation:
Start by giving an overall description of the situation, then describe what happened in detail.
Talk about how you felt during the experience.
Describe the actions you took to resolve the problem or deal with the difficult situation.
Part 3: Two-way Discussion
1. How have people's navigation skills changed over the past few years due to advances in technology, especially GPS systems and smartphones?
2. What are some of the challenges that come with relying on GPS systems or other digital tools for navigation?
3. In your opinion, are there any disadvantages to the increasing use of technology for navigation purposes, particularly for young people?
4. How important do you think it is for people to learn traditional methods of navigation, such as using a map and compass, alongside digital tools like GPS systems? Why might this be beneficial?
5. In what kinds of situations or places might relying on technology for navigation be particularly risky or not recommended?
