Part 2 (Cue Card):
Topic: Describe a recent journey you went on. Where did you go, and what made it memorable for you?
In this part of the test, you will have one minute to prepare a response before speaking about the topic for up to two minutes. Be sure to include the following in your response: where you went, how you traveled there, who you went with (if anyone), and any interesting experiences or memorable moments from the journey.
For example, "Recently, I took a road trip to visit a friend in another city. My journey was memorable because of the beautiful scenery we passed on the way, and the fun we had exploring new places together."
Part 3 Questions:
1. How have technological advancements impacted people's travel habits? What are some benefits and drawbacks of this development?
2. What role does tourism play in the world economy, especially for developing countries? Why is it so significant?
3. How can we reduce the negative environmental impacts of traveling? What steps should individuals take, and what role should governments and companies play in addressing these issues?
4. In what ways can travel contribute to a person's personal growth or development? Give specific examples from your own experiences or observations.
5. Why is it important for people to learn about different cultures through traveling? How can this help promote understanding and tolerance among nations?
