Part 2 (Cue Card): Describe a time when you had to adapt to a new situation. You should say:
- where and when this event took place
- what the new situation was
- how you felt at first, and what steps you took to adapt
- whether it was difficult or easy for you to adapt
- explain if there were any long-term effects of adapting to this new situation
For example, you could talk about:
- Moving to a new city or country and the challenges of adjusting to a different lifestyle.
- Starting a new job with different responsibilities and co-workers.
- Experiencing a sudden life event (such as an accident, illness, or relationship change) that required significant adaptation.
- Overcoming a personal challenge or change in circumstances, such as learning a new skill or hobby.
Part 3:
1. How important is it for people to adapt to new situations in their lives? Why do you think so?
2. In what ways can technology help people adapt to new situations and environments more easily? Provide specific examples, if possible.
3. Some people argue that it's difficult to change or adapt when one gets older. What are your thoughts on this statement?
