Part 2 (Cue Card):
Title: Talk about a time when you had to deal with a difficult legal situation.
- What was the situation about? Why did it become difficult for you?
- How did you handle the situation at first, before getting professional help or advice from a lawyer or legal expert?
- Did you seek legal assistance, and if so, how did you find someone to help you with your case? What kind of person (lawyer, judge, etc.) provided the help you needed, and in what way(s) were they helpful to you?
- How was the outcome of the situation? Were you satisfied with the result, or was there something that could have been done differently in retrospect?
Part 3:
1. In some countries, there are laws against discrimination based on certain characteristics such as race, gender, and sexual orientation. How prevalent is this issue in your country, in your opinion?
2. Some legal issues may involve ethical considerations. Can you think of an example where a person might have to make a difficult decision between what's legally right and morally right?
3. In your opinion, how important is it for every individual to understand the laws and regulations that apply in their community or country, regardless of whether they are directly affected by them or not?
4. What measures do you think should be taken to ensure that everyone understands and respects the rights and freedoms provided by the legal system, especially in a diverse society where cultural practices may conflict with the laws of the land?
