Part 2 (Cue Card):
Title: Describe a place you have lived in.
You will have one minute to talk about a place you have lived in. You should say:
- Where the place was located
- What kind of weather it had
- The people who lived there, and what they were like
- What you did for fun in that place
- And explain why you liked or disliked living there
Example:
I once lived in a small town called Whistler in British Columbia, Canada. It's a beautiful place with lots of mountains, lakes, and forests around it. The weather was quite cold, especially during the winter months when it often snowed heavily. People who lived in Whistler were generally very friendly and outdoor-loving, as there were many opportunities to go hiking, skiing, or snowboarding nearby. For fun, I would go on hikes with my friends, explore the forests, and sometimes even go ice fishing on one of the lakes. Overall, I really enjoyed living in Whistler because of its natural beauty and friendly community, but it was quite challenging to adapt to the cold weather and limited job opportunities.

4. What are some benefits and challenges of living in an environment surrounded by nature like a forest or countryside? (This relates to the cold weather aspect mentioned in the cue card)
5. How do the arts and culture scenes vary between small towns and big cities, and how might this influence a person's interests and hobbies?
6. What kind of education opportunities are there in small towns compared to big cities, and why might someone choose one over the other for their studies or career?
