- When and where it happened
- What type of work you were doing
- Who you were working with
- How the experience affected you personally
And explain why this particular experience was so memorable for you.
Sample Answer:
In 2018, I volunteered at a local animal shelter in my hometown during the summer vacation. My main task was to feed, clean and walk the dogs who were waiting to be adopted. I had the opportunity to work with a group of other young volunteers who shared the same passion for animal welfare. During this experience, I learned a lot about responsibility and empathy.
The most memorable moment for me was when I was able to help find a loving home for one of the older dogs that no one wanted to adopt initially due to its age. Seeing the dog's joy after finding a new family made me feel like my efforts had made a real difference in that animal's life. This experience deeply impacted me and made me realize the importance of giving back to society, especially when it comes to helping vulnerable animals who can't speak for themselves.
