Part 2: Cue Card - Describe a time when you had to make a decision under pressure.

In this part of the test, you have one minute to prepare your talk and then two minutes to speak. Here are some questions that can help you organize your thoughts for this cue card:

- What was the situation or problem you faced? Describe it in detail.
- How did you feel when you had to make the decision? What emotions were involved?
- Why was it necessary to make a decision at that moment rather than waiting for more information or time to think about it?
- What options did you consider, and why did you choose the option you eventually took?
- What was the outcome of your decision, and how did it affect you and/or others involved in the situation?

Part 3: Two-way Discussion

In this part of the test, the examiner will ask you some follow-up questions related to your
Part 2 talk. You should aim to develop your ideas further, give more details, or provide different perspectives on the topic. Here are some example questions that might be asked:

1. How did your decision affect others around you? Were there any positive or negative consequences as a result of your choice?
2. Looking back, do you think you made the right decision under the circumstances, or would you have done something differently if you had more time to consider all your options? Why?
3. Can you think of another situation where someone else had to make a difficult decision under pressure? How did that person handle it, and what were the results of their choice?
4. In your opinion, are people better at making decisions when they're calm or when they're experiencing high levels of stress? Why do you think this is the case?
5. Are there any techniques or strategies you can recommend for dealing with pressure when a decision has to be made quickly?
