Part 2 - Cue Card Topic: Describe a time when you had to think on your feet to find a solution.

In this part of the test, you will be given a topic and asked to talk about it for one to two minutes. You should use the following points as a guide:

- The situation that required quick thinking
- The problem or challenge that needed to be resolved
- How you came up with the solution
- The outcome of your actions, including any lessons learned

For example: "One time at work, I had to think on my feet to find a solution. It was during a team project when we realized that we were missing an important piece of equipment for our presentation. In order to come up with a quick solution, I decided to improvise and use alternative materials we had in the office. The outcome was successful as our team was able to complete the presentation without any significant delays. This experience taught me the importance of being resourceful and adaptable in unexpected situations."

Part 3 - Follow-up Questions:

Based on your response in
Part 2, the examiner will ask you follow-up questions related to the topic:

1. In what other situations have you found yourself needing to think quickly?
2. How do you usually handle stressful or unexpected situations in life and work?
3. What qualities, in your opinion, make a person good at problem solving under pressure?
4. How important is creativity in finding solutions for challenges, and how can one develop this quality further?
5. Can you think of any famous people who have been known to excel in high-pressure situations due to their ability to think on their feet or improvise effectively?

Remember that the IELTS speaking test is designed to evaluate your language proficiency, so it's important to practice and be confident in your ability to respond to a variety of questions while maintaining a natural, fluent conversation.
