Part 1: Questions related to familiar topics

4. What are your favorite types of cuisine and why? Have you ever tried cooking them at home?
5. What kind of sports do you like to play/watch? Which is your favorite one and why?
6. How often do you go out with friends or family for recreational activities, like going to the movies, restaurants, etc.?
7. What are your hobbies? When did you start doing them?
8. Have you ever traveled abroad? If yes, where and how was your experience?
9. How often do you use public transport in your city? Which modes of transport do you usually take?
10. What kind of food do you prefer: fast food or slow food and why?

Part 2: Cue Card - Discuss a historical place you have visited.

You will have one minute to talk about a historical place you've been to. You should say:
- Where the place is located,
- What the place is famous for historically,
- When you went there, and
- How you felt during your visit.

For example, I visited the Great Wall of China last year, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's an iconic symbol of Chinese civilization dating back to the 7th century BC. During my visit, I was deeply impressed by its grandness and the challenging conditions under which it was built.

Part 3: Questions related to historical places and other topics.

1. What are some famous historical sites in your country that you would recommend visiting? Why are they important historically?
2. In what ways can visiting a historical place help us understand the past culture and lifestyle of people living there at that time?
3. How do you think the construction and preservation of historical monuments affect modern society and local economies?
4. Some historical sites are being restored or rebuilt now. Why is this necessary, and what challenges does it present to architects and engineers?
5. Do you think that history education should be improved in your country's school curriculum, and if so, why?
6. What are some ways by which governments can preserve historical sites for future generations?
