Part 2: Cue Card
Description of Task: "Describe a time when you had to make a difficult decision." You will have one minute to prepare before speaking on this topic. You will be asked some follow-up questions about your story, but don't worry, the examiner is only interested in hearing your opinion and understanding your experiences, not testing your grammar or vocabulary knowledge.
Part 3: Discussion Topics
1. The role of technology in modern life. How has it changed our lives, and how do you think it will continue to change them in the future?
2. Some people believe that everyone should have access to free education at all levels. Others argue that education should not be free because those who receive a free education may not appreciate its value as much. What is your opinion on this matter?
3. The importance of environmental conservation and preservation. How can individuals contribute to protecting the environment, and what role should governments play in promoting sustainability?
4. In some countries, women are expected to have certain roles or responsibilities that are different from those of men. Discuss your thoughts on this issue and whether you think this is a positive or negative aspect of society.
5. The benefits and challenges of urbanization. How can cities become more sustainable while accommodating the growing population?
