Sample answer:
I'd like to talk about a memorable event from my childhood, which happened during a family trip to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. This event has always stayed with me because it taught me important lessons about life and survival.
We went on this trip when I was nine years old. My parents, sister, and I decided to go snorkeling near a coral reef. While we were swimming and admiring the beautiful marine life, my little sister accidentally strayed too far from our group. She started panicking as she couldn't see us or the shore anymore.
I remembered feeling scared but also determined to help her. So, I swam back to the shore to get help, while my dad stayed behind with my sister, reassuring her and making sure she didn't panic further. Luckily, the lifeguards were able to find us, and we all returned safely to our hotel.
This event is memorable for me because it taught me the importance of staying close to your family and friends when in unfamiliar environments. It also showed me the importance of staying calm during emergencies and working together as a team to overcome challenges. Most importantly, this event has shaped my personality as someone who values family bonding, teamwork, and being prepared for unexpected situations.

3. In what ways has the experience with your sister influenced the way you interact with others, particularly in times of crisis or challenge?
4. How important are family bonds and teamwork in today's world, especially given the increasing emphasis on individualism and self-reliance?
