Part 2: Cue Card
Description of Task: In this part of the test, you will be given a topic and a short time to prepare a brief talk on it. You will then have the opportunity to speak for approximately 2 minutes about the topic. Here is your topic:
"Describe an event or activity that you attended recently which was completely different from your usual routine."
For this cue card, you should consider:
- Introducing the event/activity and where it took place
- Explaining why you chose to attend or participate in this event/activity (if applicable)
- Describing the experience at the event/activity, including any challenges you faced or interesting people you met
- Discussing what you learned from attending or participating in this event/activity, and if it changed your perspective on something
- Sharing your overall feelings about the experience
Part 3: Discussion Topics
1. The role of technology in our lives: How has the advancement of technology affected communication between people? What are some potential benefits and drawbacks of this development in society?
2. The importance of nature preservation: Why is it important to protect natural environments, such as forests and oceans? In your opinion, what measures should be taken at both individual and governmental levels to ensure the survival of these ecosystems?
3. Education system and its impact on personal development: How does the education system in your country shape people's perspectives and values? Do you think it prepares individuals for their future careers and lives, or are there areas that need improvement?
